Ash and Pikachu’s Journey Will End Next Year: The Pokémon Company has announced

The end of an era is upon us.

Ash Ketchum(known as Satoshi in Japan, is a fictional character in the Pokémon franchise owned by Nintendo.) and Pikachu (a fictional species in the Pokémon media franchise. Designed by Atsuko Nishida and Ken Sugimori) will not be the main characters in The Pokémon’s upcoming anime series. Instead, this will ensue for the first time in 25 years.

Many of us expected this in the trail of the recent expansion in the latest iteration of the long-running series; we noticed Ash finally become a World Champion Pokémon Trainer. By defeating Pokémon Sword and Shield’s Leon in the Pokémon World Coronation Series, he earned his first international title win in the entire 25-year run.

The correct answer is home. On January 13 in Japan, an 11-episode epilogue series to the current run of the anime will tell the final chapter in Ash and Pikachu’s story as the young hero reflects on his quest to become a Pokémon Master. Then, a brand new Pokémon series will begin in April, introducing two new protagonists.

The Three started Pokémon of the Paldea region were introduced in the recent Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet games- a grass type Sprigatito, fire type Fuecoco, and water type Quaxly. But the two new protagonists of the series will be a young girl named Liko and a boy named Roy. However, the fact stated that these would be their names in the series. But maybe they could have new words when the series is getting dubbed.

“It’s been an extraordinary privilege to have been the English voice of Ash Ketchum for what will be 17 years. No matter what lies beyond his final chapter, he’ll live forever in the hearts of many generations to come. I’ll keep him present for all of us in every way I can. ” Sarah Natochenny, the current English voice actress for Ash, shared a post on Twitter.

It’s a significant sea change for a franchise that has, for nearly 25 years, been defined by its unwillingness to embrace change across all of its iterations. Instead, the card game has grown in fits and beginnings over the years, adding layers of mechanical complexion, Scarlet and Violet. Let’s not forget this year’s spinoff, Legends: Arceus, represented significant steps forward for Pokémon’s approach to its classic game designs. This anime series is to join them by trying something new—but not before we bid good farewell to a young hero from Pallet Town.

In the English dub, he was voiced by Veronica Taylor in the first eight seasons and has been voiced by Sarah Natochenny since season 9.

Due to their vast popularity and success, Ash has become one of the most well-known and recognizable fictional characters.
